Bowyer Engineering (Midlands) Ltd
Bowyer Engineering (Midlands) Ltd are a Made in the Midlands Gold Member
A complete range of engineering services for manufacturers and the power press industry.
For over thirty years, Bowyer Engineering has supported manufacturers with expertise-led engineering services. We work across the full machinery lifespan, from supplying new and used machinery to emergency repairs to full turnkey installations.
We work with privately owned presswork outfits and multinational manufacturers. Each one of them needs the support of an engineering partner with a no-nonsense approach and a breadth of technical expertise to allow them to deliver the right solution.
Let’s work together.
We provide a full maintenance service including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical support, repair, refurbishment and complete rebuilds. Hard to find components including imperial bearings can be sourced through our network of specialist suppliers. Where parts aren’t available, we manufacture in house, reverse engineering or using our cad drawing archive where dimensions aren’t available. Our fitting shop is one of few in the country with a 30 tonne lifting capacity and 10 metre headroom.
In addition to producing single items, we design and manufacture purpose built equipment. Most recently, we designed and built a test rig for industrial vehicle powertrains. Inhouse, we offer 3D CAD/CAM modelling and design, for the most efficient concept-to-completion service. Other facilities include CNC milling and CNC turning up to 500mm x 2 metre and fabrications of up to 30 tonne.
We have sourced and exported over 5,000 tonnes of equipment in the last 18 months. With a vast knowledge of equipment we can supply to budget or production requirements.
We offer a one call one problem service. From machine de-commissioning to full plant installation including preliminary civils to foundation work to plant layout, installation of services, mains, air and water. We have 6 languages in our office assisting with inter-continental movements. All engineers are fully trained and certified.
